Laser Hair Removal
Now hair can be medically removed with laser or pulsed light technology with minimal discomfort. The most popular areas for hair removal include the bikini, under arms, feet, toes, upper lip, chin, face, back and around the nipple.
We use the latest state-of-the-art pulsed light technology that has been scientifically proven to remove hair as effectively as any laser system. This system contains an integrated cooling tip which makes hair removal much more comfortable and safe. Pulsed light targets melanin in the hair follicle, thus killing or disabling the unwanted hair. Because these systems treat areas of the skin rather than treating one hair at a time, it is possible to treat larger areas such as the back, shoulders, arms, legs.
The number of treatments needed depends on the area treated, hair density, skin type and other factors, such as hormones and metabolism. Usually, 6 to 8 sessions are needed. The sessions last less than one hour and normal activites can be resumed immediately.
